Head Nurse, Ob Gyn & Maternity Ward – Western Trained/Educated
A Head Nurse of the Maternity Unit is a Registered Midwife whose competencies, qualifications, registration and/ or license are recognized by the local regulatory authority for registration. She functions in accordance with legislative and hospital policies and guidelines relevant to midwifery practise and assumes responsibility and accountability for her own actions and clinical decision making.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Nursing (duration of study not less than three years) from a recognised western institution
- Post Graduate Degree in Nursing Management/Advanced Clinical Speciality desirable
- Current/Valid nursing license.
- 5 years demonstrated incremental leadership and management experience.
- Specialist training/experience, e.g. neonatal or pediatric intensive care nursing, where necessary.
Critical Care Services Manager
Assumes overall responsibility for effective, efficient and cost-effective operation of Critical Care Services (Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit), Directs, coordinates and evaluates the activities of the designated area for the purpose of maintaining optimal delivery of patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Nursing (duration of study not less than three years) from a recognized Western Institution
-Post Graduate Degree in Nursing Management/Advanced Clinical Speciality desirable.
- Current/Valid nursing license.
- 5 years demonstrated incremental leadership and management experience.
- Specialist training/experience in intensive care nursing, where necessary.
Snr. Staff Nurse Operating Room – Western Trained/Educated
A registered senior professional nurse who provides direct patient care and coordinates patient care-related activities using the scientific process of nursing. Nursing care given to paediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates learning and development programs for Operating Room Nurses. Utilizes various strategies for Education including Clinical Teaching and In Service sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Nursing (duration of study not less than three years) from a recognized Western Institution
- Current license to practice nursing
- Minimum 5 years General Operating Room experience.
- Previous experience in a senior role
- Private hospital experience desirable
- Post graduate diploma preferred
- Current experience in all areas of the Operating Rooms – Scrub, Circulate, Anesthesia and PA.C.U.
Staff Nurse, Pediatric Ward – Far Eastern/Asian
Required Qualifications:
At least Two (2) years of recent post-graduate pediatric nursing experience (In patient setting)
BCLS certification
Private tertiary hospital experience desirable
PALS (Paediatric Advance Life Support) will be an advantage
Current/Valid license to practice nursing
Staff Nurse – Geriatrics (Middle Eastern Trained)
Female / At least 3 years of experience with Geriatric patients / Private hospital experience preferred
Health Care Assistants (Far Eastern/Asian)
Female or Male / Nursing/Midwifery graduate (license not required) / At least 2 years hospital based experience as HCA or Nursing Aid desired

STANDARD BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL NURSING POSITIONS:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - duration of study is not less than three academic years from Western Accredited Institution
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery – duration of study is not less than 3 academic years from Non-Western Accredited Institution
• At least three (3) years of recent post-graduate med/surg nursing experience.
• Current home country license to practice nursing
• BCLS certification
• Private hospital experience desirable
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy
• Exposure to / experience of customer service principles
Credentialing Requirements of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for Registered Nurses:
Degree certificate copies (copy of original certificate(s)& translated copy)
Experience letters from all previous employers.
Medical / Nursing license copy (front and back)
Degree Mark sheet / Transcripts for all 3.5 years / 4 years
Copy of the backside on the degree certificate ( for applicants having Afghanistan, Egyptian & Pakistani degrees/certificates)
Certificate of Authenticity and Verification (CAV) for applicants who have studied in Philippines
Name change certificate, if applicable (Marriage certificate, affidavit, any legal document, etc.)
